Seventeen-year-old Peter Blankman is a maths prodigy. He also suffers from severe panic attacks. Afraid of everything, he finds solace in the orderly and logical world of mathematics and in the love of his family: his scientist mum and his tough twin sister Bel, as well as Ingrid, his only friend. However, when his mother is found stabbed before an award ceremony and his sister is nowhere to be found, Pete is dragged into a world of espionage and violence where state and family secrets intertwine. Armed only with his extraordinary analytical skills, Peter may just discover that his biggest weakness is his greatest strength

Well Constructed & Fast Moving Plot

Peter is anxious. He is anxious about almost everything. So when his mother is the victim of an assassination attempt and his twin sister, Bel,  disappears his world just implodes. This is a fast action book full of twists and conspiracy theories. Will Peter realise that he is stronger than he thinks?

I loved this book and found it hard to put down. It is a fast moving book which kept my interest throughout. Never rely on anyone being quite who you think they are! The plot is well constructed with some excellent twists at the end. Twists which work in the context of the book but which I didn't see coming & should have!

The characters in this book are strong and well defined. The plot is well constructed with no noticeable holes. Yes, okay a few areas required me to suspend belief but nothing beyond what I was prepared to do. An excellent book.

I received a free copy of this book from the publisher.
