From the author of Soon comes a raucous bedtime read-aloud - brimming with dinosaurs! Mum is trying to get her rather lively dino-obsessed child ready for bed, but this little boy won't go easy . he's got a dinosaur-themed comeback (and a ROARY action) for everything! Dinosaurs don't have to eat all their dinner, wash their hair or brush their teeth ... so why should he? And as bedtime beckons, the little boy gets more and more lost in his imaginative world. Will mum ever get him to close his eyes? With exuberant, hilarious dinosaur art from shining illustration talent, Nikki Dyson, this is the perfect story for children with wild imaginations (who refuse to go to sleep!).

Great Fun - Lots of Chances for Sound Effects!

Mo is being a dinosaur. Dinosaurs don't do things that are boring such as eating their dinner at a certain time, having a bath or wearing pyjamas. Conveniently dinosaurs don't do things that Mo doesn't want to do! Mo tells his mother all about the exciting things that dinosuars do instead.

This is a wonderfully bright book with lots of opportunities for youngsters to join in. There are plenty of dinosaur noises such as growl, yarl, roar and grrrrrr for younger children to join in with. So if you are sat with a child and reading this book be prepared for it to be loud! The pictures are bright, relatively simple in design but with plenty going on in them.

Many children go through a dinosaur stage from around 4 to around 7 or 8. They are fantastic animals and children just love them. Having a book about Mo being a dinosaur is bound to appeal to these children especially as there is so much opportunity  for sound effects.

Although Mo tells his Mother that dinosuars don't do many things, he isn't rude to her and it is very obvious from the pictures that Mum does get her own way! Mo does eat his tea and have a bath whilst telling Mum that dinosaurs don't! There is great interaction between Mo and his Mum until he finally settles down to sleep at the end - making this a perfect bedtime book!

I love this book. It is bright, fun and with lots of opportunities for the child to join in.
